Falls Prevention Program

Our falls prevention program focuses on prevention by improving balance, strength, and mobility in individuals at risk of falling. We evaluate and use balance training enhances stability and coordination, such as standing on one leg or using balance boards. Strengthening exercises focus on building lower body strength to support walking and reduce fall risk, including squats, toe and ankle strengthening. Gait training teaches proper walking techniques to improve stability and confidence while moving. Flexibility and stretching exercises are utilized to increase range of motion and prevent stiffness.
